“Nahr” a boutique hotel with the goal of providing a high end foreign experiences.
With an intended audience of upper middle/ lower upper class people looking to
travel and experience Morocco in a closer environment in America while being respectful
and honor Moroccan tradition through color, texture, architecture, tradition and style.
Nahr meaning river was inspired by morocco just as saffron was but rather than basing it on the sands of morocco it was based on beaches of morocco. it serves at the other half of morocco and as a way to relax and feel a calming vibe when you book a room in the hotel. The challenge here was to make the brand work with the saffron restaurant but still remain distinct, provide the viewer with the right feeling and still keep TO THE Moroccan roots. I overcame this by keeping the logos similar in terms of design and using different but soft colors to create that relaxing beach vibe to keep things similar and still different.
